The story of “A Place for Family”
We are the Koulianos family and we want to welcome you to come along our journey with us!
Almost a decade ago, we started dreaming with the Lord about a piece of land where ministry families could come and be restored back to the simplicity of health and living from the inside out.
Our heart is to host the presence of God and be a physical place in the earth where Jesus can abide. This land will be dedicated to the Lord for generations to come and will be a place of healing! We want to provide a resource that helps fortify the family unit for the sake of longevity in ministry and be a reminder of the value of the sacred dinner table. We believe that a healthy ministry built for generational impact, begins with the inside of the home and it's never too late to prioritize family!
Our goal is for a portion of the land to have family cabins for rest and connection, a large space for gatherings of worship, prayer and spiritual development, and a beautiful prayer garden/walking trail to cultivate intimacy with Jesus outside in nature. Another portion of the land will have smaller A-frame cabins designated for discipleship students and housing worship leaders and song writers because of our passion to support the Levitical community and creatives. We believe the body of Christ was fortified by the breaking of bread around the table. This is why we desire have a space dedicated to chef-inspired, farm to table community dinners that would provoke a perspective that life was meant to be lived around the table! This area would be complete with an Italian pizza oven and a family owned coffee shop.
We are obviously passionate about wholeness and health in family! There are many incredible discipleship resources out there that focus on training for public ministry and we both honor and celebrate that. These are vital resources in extending God's kingdom in the earth! However, the one thing we feel is often overlooked seems to be healthy family. The key to longevity in ministry is intimacy with God and prioritizing family. Our heart is to launch a discipleship school that focuses on tending to the heart of God and tending to the heart of your home. What would it look like in the earth if we slowed down, much like pulling back an arrow, to teach people that the heart of God is generational and that we can give our great, great grandkids the gift of health in ministry?
Come and be a part!
Love,
Theo, Rach, Theo Malachi, Henry, Caleb and Levi
